Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary for Educational Services, Dr. Kelvin Mambwe has witnessed the historic installation Eden University’s first female Vice Chancellor, at a colorful ceremony held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.

The University has hired Ms. Chileshe Kapwepwe, who doubles as COMESA Secretary General.

Dr. Mambwe encouraged management of the learning institution to prepare itself for the mass student numbers in the near future because of government’s thriving Education For All-EFA policy that has encouraged high enrollment in public schools.

Dr. Mambwe hailed Eden University for its tenacity in supplementing government efforts in expanding the education sector.

Ms. Kapwepwe has taken over from Professor Robert Serpell who was at the helm of the university since 2018.
